As we hit the halfway point of the first month of the NFL season, we start to see some of the DNA that makes up a football team. In this case, we may still have some questions about the longevity of how good Denver can really be, as opposed to the Jets, who look to be in the running for the worst team in the league.

Teddy Bridgewater vs. Robert Saleh: Since Teddy entered the league, nobody has covered more football games at the QB position than Bridgewater. This isn’t done by accident or by launching the football down the field. It’s the job of the Jets HC and his defense to cause turnovers against one of the most efficient QBs in the league.

Zach Wilson vs. Zach Wilson: The Jets will be out of this game fast if Wilson can’t control the turnovers. Don’t be shocked if you see short, quick passes out of Wilson’s hands, doing his best Bridgewater imitation before the inevitable interception.

Denver vs. Boredom: We are two weeks into making NFL picks and the Jets are terrible. Wilson and Corey Davis late in the 4th can still be a dangerous backdoor unless Denver keeps the pressure on all game.

Jets vs. Broncos Key Stats

38-14: This is Bridgewater’s record ATS since starting in the league. This ridiculous number is a representation of how difficult it is to knock him out of any game, even with a lead.

4: Zach Wilson threw four interceptions last week against the Patriots defense. Denver has a monster pass rush and should be in Wilson’s face all day.

109: The total yards by Jets RBs Michael Carter and Ty Johnson. The numbers were pretty much split, with Carter getting 59 yards, and it should be a weapon against Denver.

592/4/0: This is Bridgewater’s season line for yardage/TD/INT. Denver saw their QB do this against two teams better than the Jets.

4: The Broncos have three pass-catchers playing through injury, including Courtland Sutton and Noah Fant. Jerry Jeudy is already out, making up the fourth receiver dealing with an injury.
