The second Thanksgiving Day game on Thursday will feature two historic franchises. Both the Raiders and the Cowboys are entering Week 12 needing wins after ugly losses in Week 11. The Cowboys managed to score just nine points against the Chiefs, while the Raiders scored just 13 points against the Bengals.
Neither team is playing all that well right now, but they will get a chance to redeem themselves on Thanksgiving on a primetime stage. To get you ready for this AFC-NFC matchup, here is everything you need to know from an NFL bettingperspective going into Week 12.
Take a look at Cowboys vs Raiders odds, injury report, betting lines and more.
Raiders vs. Cowboys Matchups
Cowboys RT La’el Collins vs. Raiders DE Maxx Crosby: Crosby leads the NFL in pressures and dominated again in Week 11. He should have a big game against Collins in Week 12.
Cowboys WR Cedrick Wilson vs. Raiders CB Nate Hobbs: With Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb both out for this game, Wilson will likely take over slot duties vs. Raiders. Hobbs has been a sensational rookie slot corner for Las Vegas this season.
Raiders WR Bryan Edwards vs. Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs: Edwards did not catch a pass in Week 11 and now will be covered by one of the league’s best cornerbacks. This is a tough matchup for Edwards and the Raiders.

Raiders vs. Cowboys Moneyline
The Raiders and Cowboys have not played well this month. Dallas was blown out by the Broncos and then couldn’t score against the Chiefs this week. Meanwhile, the Raiders have not scored more than 15 points since their game against the Eagles on October 24.
For that reason, it’s hard to trust either time right now, especially the Cowboys who are -310 favorites. Dallas has lost three of their previous four games on Thanksgiving and will be without several key starters, including Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, Demarcus Lawrence and Randy Gregory. Pass on the moneyline here in favor of the point spread.

Raiders vs. Cowboys Point Spread
In the three games against the AFC West this season, the Cowboys have a point differential of -21. In fact, you could make an argument that it could be even worse if it weren’t for two garbage-time touchdowns late against the Broncos. For whatever reason, the Cowboys are really struggling against non-conference opponents and a short-week without several of their key players on offense won’t help.
Take the Raiders +7 on DraftKings Sportsbook and expect them to keep this game close and potentially win outright. Thanksgiving Day games tend to be tight, and seven points is just far too many in this matchup.

Raiders vs. Cowboys Totals
The total for this game is set at 51 points, which feels like far too many. Neither offense looked good on Sunday and both teams have some injuries to monitor on offense. Dallas has struggled to run the ball over the last few games as Ezekiel Elliott is averaging only 3.6 yarder per carry in his last five games.
Meanwhile, the Raiders look lost on offense without Henry Ruggs, and they have no run game to help move the chains. It also doesn’t help that Derek Carr has thrown at least one interception in four straight games and has lost four fumbles. He’s just not playing as well as he did early in the season and it’s clear it’s due to the lack of protection around him and a poor receiving corps.
Look for both teams to lean on their defense in this game and for points to be tough to come by. Don’t be surprised if this is a 21-17 type of game on Thanksgiving Day. Take the UNDER 51 on FanDuel Sportsbook for this matchup.
