Miami Dolphins vs Pittsburgh Steelers Odds, SNF Picks & Best Bets

Pickett is expected to play. We don’t have enough info yet to know if that’s good or not for the Steelers. He has just one start and it was against the powerful Bills. That ended in a 38-3 beatdown. We have more concerns with a Steelers defense that ranks 30th vs. the pass and has to figure out how to slow down Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. 

In Tua’s three full games, the Dolphins beat the Patriots, Ravens and Bills. Miami has dominated lesser opposition at home lately, covering on betting apps in 10 of 12 vs. sub-.500 teams. Given the Steelers’ issues on offense – no team averages fewer yards per play – and Miami’s production with Tua, we love Miami to cover the spread at home. 

Even in Miami’s three wins with Tua, the Under hit twice. In Pittsburgh’s six games, only once has the number gone over 45 points, and that instance it was just 46. Only two of six Dolphins games have gone over 45 as well. Their three games at home have all finished 40 or less. 

So what’s with the seemingly high total? The return of Tua might be overvalued. Each defense ranks bottom 10 in yards allowed, as well. We’re not going all in on both offenses contributing enough to hit this mark. Lean toward the Under hitting on Sunday on sports betting sites. 

Miami is a hefty -320 on the moneyline according to the latest NFL odds, meaning you’d need to wager $320 to win $100 in profit on a Dolphins win. That’s a little high, but we’re certainly not backing a Steelers team that ranks bottom five in both total offense and total defense. 

Miami is the play, but we prefer the -110 odds on the spread.
