Best Week 12 DFS QB

Falcons QB Matt Ryan ($5,900)

Matchup: vs. Raiders

After allowing nearly 350 passing yards to Patrick Mahomes in Week 11, the Raiders travel to Atlanta to take on the Falcons. Matt Ryan is coming off a poor performance against the Saints, but he has traditionally played well at home against uncommon opponents.

Ryan hasn't always been a great DFS quarterback this season, but he has gone over 18.9 DFS points in four of his last five games. He also has a few big games sprinkled in throughout the season, including a 23.4-point day against Denver a few weeks ago.

With how much the Las Vegas defense has struggled against the pass, Ryan is a strong value play this week regardless if Julio Jones is in or out of the lineup. Look for him to go over 300 passing yards and throw at least two touchdowns. At less than $6,000, don't be afraid to put Ryan into your lineups this week. We aren’t afraid.

Best Week 12 DFS RB

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs ($7,200)

Matchup: at Falcons

On the other side of the ball, the Raiders will lean on their ground attack to win on the road. That means a heavy dose of Josh Jacobs, who remains one of the league's most physical running backs. Jacobs has been excellent over the last month, scoring at least 13 fantasy points in four straight games. He could be in for his biggest game of the season facing a Falcons defense that has allowed a ton of points to opposing running backs.

The Raiders offensive line is one of the best in the league despite multiple injuries. Their overwhelming size and power should be at an advantage here against the smaller Falcons defensive line. Look for Jacobs to exceed 20 touches and get into the end zone once or twice. He should have no problem getting to 20 or more fantasy points this week, especially if he gets some more work in the passing game.

Best Week 12 DFS WR

Vikings WR Justin Jefferson ($6,300)

Matchup: vs. Panthers

Each week, rookie wide receiver Justin Jefferson finds a way to return value for DFS players. After a 135-yard performance on Monday Night Football, Jefferson followed up with an 86-yard, one-touchdown performance against Dallas.

In Week 12, he will be the Vikings' top receiver as Adam Thielen tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday and will miss the team's game against the Carolina Panthers. Jefferson should see double-digit targets, and it wouldn't be surprising if the Vikings funnel most of the passing offense to the rookie. Carolina will undoubtedly roll coverage to his side, but look for the former LSU star to have another monster day.

Best Week 12 DFS TE

49ers TE Jordan Reed ($3,600)

Matchup: at Rams

As usual, the tight position in DFS is incredibly tricky if you don't pay up for Travis Kelce or Darren Waller. With George Kittle out, those are the only two tight ends you can trust on a week-to-week basis, and even Waller can be inconsistent. However, we may have a cheat code available to us in Week 12.

With Kittle out once again, Jordan Reed is a must-start at just $3,600. He will start at tight end this week after the team's Week 11 bye, and in his last start, we saw him catch five passes for 62 yards. While that's not an overwhelmingly performance, it is passable at the tight end position. Whenever he has gotten the chance to start, he's been a startable option for DFS players.

Against the Rams in Week 12, Reed could easily see double-digit targets from Nick Mullens and be the most valuable pass-catcher for the 49ers. Don't be afraid to go cheap at tight end this week and pay up for other positions such as running back and wide receiver.

Best Week 12 DFS Flex Pick

Buccaneers WR Antonio Brown ($5,700)

Matchup: vs. Chiefs

Every week, Antonio Brown's role in the Buccaneers offense continues to grow. In Week 11, he saw a season-high 13 targets, catching eight of them for 57 yards. While the overall numbers aren't great, Tom Brady is starting to trust him more and even took a few deep shots to him against the Rams. Those passes all fell incomplete, but the positive air yards here indicate that big games are coming for Brown.

In Week 12, the Buccaneers face the Chiefs in the Game of the Week. For the Buccaneers to win this game, they are going to need to score 30 or more points. Look for Brady to continue to feed Brown targets and for the former All-Pro receiver to have his best game of the season. At just $5,700, it shouldn't be too hard for Brown to return value this week for DFS players.
