AFC North rivals and Super Bowl hopefuls face off in a marquee Thursday Night Football matchup for Week 10, as Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens host Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. 

The Ravens (6-3) rank No. 2 in the NFL in scoring and No. 1 in yards gained. The Bengals (4-5) have won three of four to salvage the season. These teams met in Week 3, a 41-38 shootout OV victory for Baltimore.

The Bengals have bounced back from a tough 1-4 start, but by beating non-contenders in the Raiders, Browns and Giants. In that span they also played the Eagles, and got rolled by 20 points. They’re 0-4 vs. playoff contenders. 

The Ravens had a surprising loss to the Browns two weeks ago, but bounced back to score 41 points vs. the Broncos, the third time in five games they’ve scored 41. Baltimore should take this one seriously, and Cincy has yet to prove it can hang with the elite. Go with the Ravens to cover.

Bengals vs. Ravens Over/Under

Regardless of the line, Ravens games are hitting Over. Eight of their nine matchups have done so at an average of nearly 9 ppg. The Ravens’ last-ranked pass defense will be truly challenged here. 

These teams put up 79 points in the last meeting, and either teams – or both – could get to 30 here. Back the Over as a solid play for Thursday night.

Baltimore is a hefty -265 on the moneyline, meaning it would take a $265 wager to win $100 in profit with a Ravens victory. Cincinnati is at +215 (wager $100 to win $215 in profit). We like the Ravens to win by more than six points, but is the moneyline worth a sprinkle? 

Big favorites have had some surprising losses in the 2024 season; anyone who plays Survivor Pool is well aware. The Ravens should win this game, but we can’t assume anything. Their last two defeats were by the Browns and Raiders. Stick with the spread and total.

Mike Gesicki, Over 52.5 Receiving Yards

Gesicki was brought in to give Burrow a pass-catching option at tight end. Weeks 4-7 he managed just four receptions. But the last two weeks, he’s had 12 catches on 14 targets for 173 yards and two TDs. The Ravens rank 30th in yards allowed to TEs and 27th in receptions, so Burrow-to-Gesicki can keep the momentum up.
