There are just two more weeks of regular-season NFL betting action. After that, the weekend menu will be limited with just four games or less. Let’s see if we can pick out a foursome of winners for our Week 16 parlay betting play of the week.

Top NFL Week 15 Parlay Bet

Top NFL Four-Team Parlay Bet to Consider Backing in Week 16 1
Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott (21) runs with the ball against the Indianapolis Colts.

Pick #1: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Dallas Cowboys (-7)

I’m going to be betting on a big Cowboys rebound in this spot. Things had been going so well for them during their five-game winning streak before last week’s shut out. However, last week they ran into a brick wall as the Indianapolis Colts defense stymied them.

The Colts defense ranks sixth in the NFL in yards per carry (3.9), though, while the Bucs defense ranks 25th (4.8). That figures to be a big difference.

Tampa Bay has played well over the last month with a pair of home wins versus San Francisco and Carolina, and narrow road losses to New Orleans and Baltimore. However, at a closer look, their run defense hasn’t been great.

They’ve been gashed for 168.5 rushing yards per game. The Bucs have getting whipped in the time of possession battle as their 26:57 time share over their last three games is fourth-worst in the NFL. Dallas is third in the league in this category when playing at home.

With Dallas, we know that they win when Ezekiel Elliott goes off. This looks like a spot where he’ll be able to do that. Lay the points with the Cowboys.

Take the Cowboys -7 with 888Sport.

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton (1) carries the ball in the second quarter against the New Orleans Saints.

Pick #2: Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers (Under 47)

At this point, I’m going to be betting Panthers unders until I see Cam Newton benched. It’s become fairly clear that whatever is happening with his shoulder is more serious than the team is letting on. He’s not the same player who started the year with 15 touchdowns and just four interceptions in his first eight games.

He has nine touchdowns and nine interceptions in his last six. More recently, he has just two touchdowns and six picks in his last three games. The team that averaged 27.2 points per game in the first half of the season is hasn’t even hit that number once in their last six contests, averaging just 18.8 points per game in that span.

On the other side, we have a Falcons team that is coming off a big 40-14 win over the Arizona Cardinals. It was their first win in six weeks and the first time in six games that the offense top 20 points. Now they’re back on the road where they average 20.0 points per game and have only gone over that mark once in six road games. They’ll have a tough time against a rugged Panthers defense.

Given the challenges to both offenses, bet the under with 888Sport.

Top NFL Four-Team Parlay Bet to Consider Backing in Week 16 3
Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel and Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota.

Pick #3: Washington Redskins at Tennessee Titans (Under 37)

The Redskins played valiantly last week at Jacksonville, earning a small 16-13 win. However, they mustered just 245 yards of total offense and were held to 16 points or less for the fifth time in their last seven games. They are averaging 17.3 points per game in that span.

Now they’re going back on the road to face a Tennessee Titans defense that is tied for the league lead in the in points per game allowed (18.1). They’re hot right now as they’ve allowed just nine points in their last two contests.

Washington’s challenged offense will have trouble scoring while the Titans will look to run the ball with Derrick Henry and grind out another win. That should lead to an under. Bet on it at 888Sport.

Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr (4) looks to throw against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Pick #4: Denver Broncos at Oakland Raiders (+2.5)

There’s no way to paint the Raiders loss at Cincinnati as a positive, but it is worth noting that they shot themselves in the foot quite a bit. They had eight penalties for 90 yards, a pair of turnovers and gave up a 77-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.

Of course, these mistakes are typical of the Raiders this year but they had been playing well over the last month. I’ll look for them to rebound.

On the flip side, you have a Broncos team that is in a tough spot. Head coach Vance Joseph looks like he’s about to get fired and there could be wholesale changes on offense. This unit is quite banged up right now as Emmanuel Sanders is out, Case Keenum is struggling and the offensive line is weak.

They might not be very motivated in this game considered they were eliminated from the playoff hunt last week. I’ll take a shot with the Raiders as a home dog.
