Juventus are searching for a new manager after confirming the departure of Max Allegri and two Premier League managers are apparently in the running to replace him.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has been installed as 5/2 (+250) favourite to succeed Allegri in Turin by 888Sport, with Maurizio Sarri coming in as third favourite to take charge of the Bianconeri after a run of bets on the Chelsea manager over the weekend.

Pochettino is one of the most in-demand managers in world football following his success at Tottenham during the last few seasons and it is no surprise he is among the front-runners for the vacancy at Italian champions Juventus.

Sarri's future at Chelsea has been the subject of intense speculation for most of this season with the Italian failing to win over the majority of Chelsea fans with his 'Sarri-ball' style of football.

The former Napoli chief's future could become a lot clearer following this month's Europa League final between Chelsea and Arsenal and with many expecting him to leave Stamford Bridge this summer there has been strong support for him to take over at Juventus, with his price being cut into 9/2 (+450).

It is Sarri's predecessor at Chelsea – Antonio Conte – who is second favourite for the Juventus job at 3/1 (+300) with 888Sport having previously played and managed the Italian giants.

Serie A Return For Jose?

The currently out-of-work Jose Mourinho is a 6/1 (+600) shot for the role, while Pep Guardiola – fresh from winning the domestic treble with Manchester City – comes next in the betting at 7/1 (+700). Meanwhile, Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi is a 9/1 (+900) outsider for the job with 888Sport, but he is the 13/5 favourite for the job with Paddy Power after guiding Lazio to Coppa Italia success this season.

Contrary to 888Sport, the Irish bookmakers don't expect Pochettino to be making the move away from Tottenham to Turin as he is rated at a massive 14/1 (+1400) for the job.

The Juventus job is arguably one of the best jobs in European football and there is sure to be no shortage of interest in succeeding Allegri.

An 888Sport spokesman said: “While Spurs will have breathed a sigh of relief as Man United and Real Madrid both decided against the Argentinian, it could be a different story if Juve come calling.

“With a Champions League final on the horizon, they’ll be crossing their fingers that this persuades Poch to stay in London next season.”
