It looks like Leicester City will be on the lookout for a new manager after reports emerged that Enzo Maresca had agreed to move to Stamford Bridge as the next Chelsea manager to replace Mauricio Pochettino. Maresca led the Foxes back to the Premier League after a season, but they will be embarking on the new campaign with a new boss.

It means the Premier League side now have a search on their hands to find a replacement, and football betting sites have already named a favourite on the market in the form of former Forest boss Steve Cooper.

There are lots of other viable candidates to take charge at Leicester, and that includes Graham Potter, David Moyes and Steve Cooper, according to the latest odds at UK betting sites, but it remains to be seen who will be chosen as the new boss

A new manager will have to deal with a shoestring budget and the club are awaiting news on possible profit and sustainability breaches from when they were last in the Premier League, but we could see money on the likes of Rob Edwards and Roberto De Zerbi at betting apps. Steve Cooper had jumped to the head of the market, while former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy has also seen money on him in recent days. It is now former Brighton and Chelsea boss Graham Potter who is favourite for the role after reportedly holding talks with the club over a move.

Could Carlos Corberan Be Persuaded to Replace Maresca?

With Enzo Maresca looking like he has left the building, Leicester are likely to want a manager with a similar profile to the Italian, which could lead them to West Brom's Carlos Corberan. He led West Brom to the playoffs this season before they were beaten by Southampton, and he also nearly led Huddersfield back to the Premier League before leaving for the Olympiacos job, and the best betting apps have Corberan as the early favourite for the Leicester job.

Corberan has held a number of positions despite being just 41. He has found relative success with both Huddersfield and West Brom and small playing budgets, which could bode well for Leicester in their return to the Premier League. The bookies think the Leicester owners will be very interested in talking to Corberan.

Graham Potter Among Favourites for Leicester Job

Things just didn't work out for Graham Potter at Chelsea, with the Englishman seeing the Blues lose 11 of his 31-game stint before being given the boot at Stamford Bridge. However, this is a manager who was steering Brighton on an upwards trajectory, and perhaps Leicester will be keen to land his services.

After all, his achievements with the Seagulls caused Chelsea to go in hot pursuit of a manager who had also done some great work at Swansea City. Previous to this, he spent several years at Swedish club Ostersunds and might feel as though he wants to quickly rebuild his reputation.

Potter is trading at a relatively short price to replace Rodgers, and it's easy to see why the betting sites might consider him among the favourites to take the reins at the King Power Stadium. However, he is also a strong candidate to be the next Brighton manager.

David Moyes Ready for Premier League Return?

David Moyes has taken charge at no fewer than four Premier League clubs, and perhaps Leicester City will be number five. The Scot was most recently with West Ham and led them away from relegation when taking charge to a European trophy in the form of the UEFA Europa Conference League, although it might be that the Midlands club look to this vastly-experienced manager now that they're in a tight squeeze.

Moyes could be seen as a safe pair of hands after the admirable job he did at West Ham. The 61-year-old might shave an appetite to return to management immediately, and there could be an opportunity to keep another team in the Premier League. His odds with most betting sites would suggest he has a chance of getting the job.

Jesse Marsch Unlikely Candidate

Jesse Marsch appeared to be in pole position to replace Brendan Rodgers at Leicester City when the club were last in the Premier League, but talks broke down and it was Dean Smith who took charge for the last few games of the season. He has been named as an early candidate, but it is unlikely that he will be under consideration since he only took over the Canada manager's job earlier this month. However, he is known as an ambitious coach, so it perhaps shouldn't definitively be ruled out.
