Our Staking Plan
Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.
Do be aware that betting on horse racing is difficult to win consistently, that’s why we only use the best analysts and tipsters in the UK and Ireland to give their advice on this page. Previous performance is no guarantee of future success and you should only bet with what you can afford to lose.
Tip 1 - 2:30 Southwell - Finn Lough
This looks like one the handicapper might have missed as Finn Lough gets in here running off the same mark as last time out, despite being on the premises in a decent looking handicap. Not only is he running off the same mark but this is a severe drop in grade and he should take care of Shantou Lucky. The handicapper had no trouble spotting him, as he needs to cope with a massive 20lb rise today.

Tip 2 - 3:00 Nottingham - Kesta
Kesta is top weight in this by a decent amount but has also shown by far the best form of the field. Has been consistent with two wins to his name and four further places from nine career runs. Third latest in a decent looking sales race and dead-heated with India Love at Windsor in July, who was then in Group territory next time out. Rum Therapy looks a danger if continuing to progress, but if Kesta runs to his previous ability, he should take this.

Tip 3 - 4:35 Nottingham - Crowd Quake
Crowd Quake picked up a whopping seven wins over the summer prior to a pair of cracking runs in defeat in September. He finished second at the St Leger meeting before finishing a never-nearer sixth at Ayr despite a slow start and trouble in running. He’s been winning Class 3 races while most of today’s opposition has been contesting Class 5 or 4 races. He looks to still be on the up and should resume his progress today.

More Information on Our Free Daily Horse Racing Tips
Each and every day on Bookies.com we provide a minimum of 3 highly researched and carefully selected tips for the UK and Irish daily racing from our team of experts.
This daily racing tips page is updated at approximately 9.30am each morning and each selection will come with concise reasoning, key data to support the advice and a quick guide as to how the horse is expected to run and what to look out for when it comes to the race itself.
We pride ourselves on value when considering our horse racing betting advice, on Bookies.com we give you direct access to all the leading betting operators to see the market movements, daily odds at horse racing betting sites for all meetings and of course their exclusive free bet offers.
What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?
We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.
What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
Where Can I Watch the Daily Horse Racing Selections Run?
The best place is always on the racecourse but that’s not very practical so when it’s not on terrestrial TV with the likes of Sky Sports Racing and ITV (or ITV 4) then the best way to get instant access to live pictures is with a live streaming bookmaker – try these three below for the best of the bunch. We've also got a page specifically dedicated to Cheltenham Festival live streaming.
