Tip 1 - 12:10 Sedgefield - Wind Your Neck In
Wind Your Neck In sits on a very dangerous mark considering his exploits on the flat once having been rated 91 on the level. Dropped 3lb for his last run despite it coming off a break and very much looking like he needed the spin when he weakened late on. Should be fitter for that run and should be right there at the finish today.

Tip 2 - 1:47 Clonmel - Intent Approach
Having signed off on his novice campaign last year with a much-improved display at Down Royal, Intent Approach looked like a horse ahead of his mark. Almost a year and a half off the track followed and he was entitled to need his comeback run at Listowel in September. Going off at 14/1 from these connections would suggest not a lot was expected of him. Now race fit, he should be primed to resume his progress.

Tip 3 - 2:30 Sedgefield - Born In The West
Born In The West returned to action three weeks ago after six months off and although it wasn’t a stellar run, the hope is that he’s shaken off the cobwebs and is ready to find form today. The lightly-raced six-year-old enjoyed a strong hurdles season late last year and early this, ending with figures of 322123, and his sole career win came over today’s distance.

Tip 4 - 2:50 Newbury – East India Express
Looked a smart hurdling prospect at the end of last season with a six-length win at Cheltenham in April. Returned from 191 days out as favourite 13 days ago but fell halfway round. While he didn’t finish the race, we can still expect that to be used as a decent tune up for today. Sire has produced some decent hurdlers in the past, and this step up to over three miles should, in theory, suit.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?
We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundreds and hundreds of tips this year.
What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
