Tip 1 - 1:37 Fakenham - Iskar d’Airy
We’re hoping that Iskar d’Airy needed his first run for 141 days earlier this month when being well held at Kempton. Drops back to what appears to be his optimum trip and if returning to the form of spring, he will outrun his odds easily. Won three of four chases, with the form of the latter two victories being franked with multiple next-time winners. Back into a Class 4 is a positive, and he should go well.

Tip 2 - 2:23 Newton Abbot - Bond Broker
Bond Broker looked like he was going to be a very useful prospect after starting his career under rules with three wins from six runs, however things didn’t go to plan first time out over fences. His jumping ability isn’t in question as he has a point-to-point win under his belt, but he didn’t enjoy the trip as it was over further than he wants and he was too keen early. Back over the minimum distance he should settle better, and is a real danger if he does.

Tip 3 - 2:47 Nottingham - Cerulean Bay
A string of good results for Cerulean Bay was ended a couple of weeks ago by a disappointing 13th but that shouldn’t detract from the fact he had gone 2211 in the four previous races. The four-year-old has exclusively run in Class 2 handicaps this year and today is a step up in grade but if he can bounce back then he will be right in the mix once again.

Tip 4 - 3:31 Dundalk - Anushka
Plenty making debut here, but it might pay to focus on the handful with form in the book. Anushka is clearly well-regarded, having gone off at just 7/2 for her debut. She ran a solid enough race and backed it up with a placed effort over shorter at Navan, leaving the impression that a step back up in trip would suit. She could be the one to beat with the two Ballydoyle fillies looking ordinary on what they’ve shown to date.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?
We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundreds and hundreds of tips this year.
What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
