Tip 1 - 1:05 Chester - Kody B e/w
They say that picking a horse from Stalls 1 or 2 in Chester is imperative, and we’re willing to put that to the test with an unfancied horse in the form of Kody B. Looked all sorts of green on debut three weeks ago and will need to step up somewhat from that. But he’s stepping back in class for this race and is from a multiple Group winner at two years old in Dark Angel. No horse in this race has been able to win yet in their career, so we think there could be a place at a big price from Craig Lidster’s colt.

Tip 2 - 1:15 Doncaster - Shadow Dance
Shadow Dance hasn’t cut much ice this year, but may be able to resume his progress in this more suitable race. Roger Varian’s gelding managed a win and two places from four runs last year, establishing himself as a top staying handicapper. One of his better efforts came in this race last season, where he finished a close third off a pound higher. With two runs under his belt, he should be spot on for this.

Tip 3 - 1:50 Doncaster - Do Or Do Not
Do Or Do Not is yet to win in six races but has recorded three seconds and two thirds in his last five, all but one of which have been Group 2s. The lack of experience of others in this race could prove to be the difference as no others have hit the turf more than three times in their respective careers.

Tip 4 - 2:10 Chester - Navid
Very much on the upgrade since being fitted with cheekpieces there looks to be another win in Navid. Front running tactics have also aided him in recent attempts, only just being touched off in his last outing when well clear of the rest. That trip probably stretched him as well, so the drop in trip should be right up his street as well.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?
We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.
What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
