Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.

Do be aware that betting on horse racing is difficult to win consistently, that’s why we only use the best analysts and tipsters in the UK and Ireland to give their advice on this page. Previous performance is no guarantee of future success and you should only bet with what you can afford to lose.

Tip 1 - 2:25 Ayr - Breeze Of Wind

This is going to be one hell of a stamina test of a stiff three miles on heavy ground, so we need a horse we’re confident can last the pace. Breeze Of Wind is back to his last winning mark of 103, which came at Hexham last year over four miles on heavy ground. He beat one of today’s rivals in Don Brocco by a length-and-a-half, and today Breeze Of Wind has an extra pound in hand. They also raced last time out, which Don Brocco won convincingly, but there was nearly a full two stone between the two, which has closed to just over a stone.

Tip 2 - 2:55 Ayr – Orkney Blue

Yet to win in three hurdle starts, Orkney Blue faces a tough test here to beat odds-on favourite Marlacoo but has shown more than enough to be right in the mix. The seven-year-old finished second over this distance in December, and three miles proved to be too far for him last month, lending credence to the idea that this is his best trip.

Tip 3 - 4:35 Ayr - Park Annonciade

After not enjoying his time over fences, failing to complete in three of his four runs, Park Annonciade returned to hurdles last time out and instantly looked a bit more at home. He has run well in the past at Ayr, once winning over a shorter trip than today, and runs here off his previous winning mark. Should have a good chance if he can cut out the jumping mistakes.

Tip 4 - 5:00 Wolverhampton - Northern Cracksman

Northern Cracksman makes the switch to Michael Appleby on a hat-trick bid, having won two handicaps over a mile for Lawrence Mullaney. The step up in trip should suit this son of Cracksman, who has tried longer trips earlier in his career and appearing to stay just fine. How well he saw out his two recent wins further backs that up, and he’s well-drawn for one who likes to go from the front. He’s clearly on the up and should be able to continue to progress for his new yard.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).

The best place is always on the racecourse but that’s not very practical so when it’s not on terrestrial TV with the likes of Sky Sports Racing and ITV (or ITV 4) then the best way to get instant access to live pictures is with a live streaming bookmaker – try these three below for the best of the bunch.
