Tip 1 - 1:52 Lingfield - Regal Charm

Regal Charm might be under a penalty here but she holds the most impressive piece of form after putting her debut run behind her. Her prices of 150/1 on debut and 2/1 next time out show they had a feeling something was coming on her second run. Tip 2 - 2:52 Lingfield - Mick’s Spirit

Something of a gamble picking this seven-year-old who had beaten just three runners from a possible 17 in his last three races. But hasn’t been seen since April suggesting an issue was found, as he’s typically campaigned all year round. If in good condition, he is very well treated from a mark of 60 having won over course and distance six times, all from a higher mark than today’s.

Tip 3 - 3:32 Windsor - Vulcan Way

Vulcan Way ran a cracker last time out, getting outpaced around Epsom’s tight bends before running on late to finish a close fourth. The winner, runner up and fifth horse from that race have won since, so it looks remarkably strong form for this grade. With George Wood taking over from a seven pound claimer, we should see Harry Eustace’s colt run a big race if ready to go after a couple of months off.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
