Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.

Tip 1 - 2:20 Kelso - Mr Bramley

Mr Bramley is looking to make it three wins in his last four races after a pair of fairly comfortable outings sandwiched between a third at Newbury. This is new ground for the seven-year-old, who has never run in a Class 2 nor at 2m5f, but he still looks an excellent choice even with a 6lb rise from last time out given that he’s four from six over hurdles.

Tip 2 - 3:05 Newbury - Sorceleur

Five-year-old Sorceleur has had a couple of close calls in recent races after two wins at Exeter and Wincanton. It appears that he prefers to make all and may have suffered for not doing so the last twice. Dropping back down in distance to one he has won at twice is sure to help too. Expect a front-running ride from Harry Cobden, and it may be enough to change the run of seconds to a winner.

Tip 3 - 3:45 Newbury - Billytherealbigred

After just running into one well-handicapped horse last time out, Billytherealbigred is set to put in another front-running performance in a big Saturday handicap. His front-running style and slick jumping should have a lot of these in trouble all the way round and will be difficult to peg back with a clear round. He went up 3lb for his performance last time but runs here effectively off the same mark as Toby Wynne takes off three with his claim. The duo have formed a great partnership, with wins on both occasions Wynne has been in the saddle.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
