Tip 1 - 2.32 Yarmouth - Heer’s Sadie
After getting back to winning ways last time out there could be more to come from Heer’s Sadie who has won off this mark or higher three times in the past. She beat My Boy Jack that day who has subsequently gone close twice since, so the form of her win does have some substance. She doesn’t quite see out the mile trip, so hopefully in a small field they won’t go a full gallop and she can use her turn of foot to her advantage.

Tip 2 - 2:40 Haydock - True Promise
A number of these arrive in good form. While that can’t be said of True Promise, he’s too well-handicapped to ignore. A winner off a mark of 81 in November and a close third off 78 in May, he makes a lot of appeal now rated 75. Today’s drop in trip and first time blinkers could spark a revival for Kevin Ryan’s gelding, with his horses running well in recent weeks.

Tip 3 - 2:50 Perth - Just Dottie
Just Dottie missed out on a hat trick last month when she finished third of nine here but with the previous two wins coming over course-and-distance, it’s hard to look past someone in such good form. The seven-year-old’s two C&D wins were both at Class 3, too, so a step down should help her, and she has also previously recorded C&D wins here in May 2023 and May 2024.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
