Tip 1 - 1:30 Newbury - Dawn Of Liberation

A hat trick is potentially on the cards for Dawn Of Liberation, who has suddenly found form after three years of showing very little. Indeed, his last win before this year came back in April 2022, but he’s gone back-to-back and both victories came over this distance, with the latter by a very comfortable four lengths at today’s grade so even a 5lb penalty shouldn’t be too much of an issue.

Tip 2 - 2:05 Newbury - Cape Orator

This looks like it could be a match between the two at the head of the market with racecourse experience. Cape Orator shaped well on debut, looking like he knew his job and would come on plenty for the run. He can improve past Moonfall who disappointed last time out, and looks vulnerable again here.

Tip 3 - 4:12 Yarmouth - Thunder Star

Three trips to Yarmouth have yielded two course-and-distance wins, the last of which came from four pounds higher than today’s 72. Flopped last time out at Beverley, but the fact she hasn’t been seen in seven weeks suggests there may have been an issue we didn’t know about. This is one of just two rides today at Yarmouth for trainer Jessica Macey having travelled all the way from Doncaster, so you would think there is at least some confidence in the five-year-old mare.

Tip 4 - 4:40 Leopardstown - Innumerable

There’s not a huge amount of form to go off in this race, but the standard shown by Innumerable to date looks pretty solid. She was fourth on debut, albeit well-beaten, with all three in front of her going on to win next time out (winner went on to win a Group 3). Her follow-up effort when third at the Curragh was just as good, with the second and fourth winning since. She’s not got the best draw, but she has easily the best form and looks solid.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
