Tip 1 - 1:45 Ascot - Walsingham
In races with restrictions on jockey bookings, it often pays to go with the proven performer, so we’re putting faith in the experienced Brodie Hampson. The horse isn’t bad either, Walsingham is seeking a hattrick and this versatile performer could get it as it looks like the penny has dropped for him on his last two runs.

Tip 2 - 2:42 Haydock - Hedge Fund
Hedge Fund started 2024 off with a pair of placed efforts off a mark of 90. Things haven’t gone his way since and he moved to the Michael Appleby yard earlier this year. He finished stone last on stable debut but was sent off favourite, suggesting he’s shown something at home. A first-time hood might be the secret to turning his fortunes around, and he’s handicapped to run a big race for his in-form yard.

Tip 3 - 3:15 Haydock - Pixie Diva
Pixie Diva has made a promising start to her young career with form of 1322, the most recent of which was over today’s distance of 5f and at today’s grade. If she’s able to run like that once again today on her return to turf, then there’s no reason she can’t continue her good form and pick up another win.

Tip 4 - 4:05 Ascot - Brave Mission
Ralph Beckett's Brave Mission showed good promise last season with a decent showing at Doncaster before a maiden win at Kempton on the all-weather. Returned with a runner-up place after 245 days off the track and hasn’t been the same since. But this is his first race after being gelded, and there could be some improvement to be found if he answers questions about soft ground sufficiently.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?
We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.
What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
