Tip 1 - 1:57 Redcar - Sucking Diesel

Sucking Diesel showed excellent early pace on debut, leading the Brocklesby field to just inside the final furlong. She faded late to finish eighth, but it was a run full of promise. We’ve seen time and again the benefit of backing two-year-olds with previous experience, and taking on nine rivals making their debut, she’s fancied to put her experience to good use.

Tip 2 - 2.15 Kelso – Balcomie Breeze

Wind surgery in December seems to have gone some way to rejuvenating Balcomie Breeze as he picked up his first career win just a month later at Catterick, and then looked even stronger in a second place a few days later at the same venue but a grade above. If his seventh last time out was merely a blip, the seven-year-old will be right in the mix again here.

Tip 3 - 3:05 Wolverhampton - Jojo Rabbit

Not a great campaign last year for Jojo Rabbit, who had just one win to show for it, which came on seasonal reappearance over course and distance from four pounds higher than today’s mark of 68. All four wins on the all-weather have come over course and distance and the latter three all from higher than 68. Has won fresh more than once in his career so should run a big race here.

Tip 4 - 3.15 Kelso - Breakdance Kid

With the current dry spell is great news for Breakdance Kid, who can be seen to best effect on top of the surface. He’s also got form at Kelso, with his win here also on good ground probably the best performance of his career to date. If he can repeat the trick today he will be tough to catch, as his main danger might be too high in the weights now.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
