Our Staking Plan
Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.
Do be aware that betting on horse racing is difficult to win consistently, that’s why we only use the best analysts and tipsters in the UK and Ireland to give their advice on this page. Previous performance is no guarantee of future success and you should only bet with what you can afford to lose.
Tip 1 - 1:50 Newmarket - Daytona
Daytona might hold the best single piece of form in this race with his win at Naas and is probably being disrespected in the betting because he lost his unbeaten tag last time out. But he was dropping down in distance that day and met a good-looking horse in Rayif. Back on faster ground and back at a mile, we could see the best of him, which will be enough to take this.

Tip 2 - 2:05 Haydock - Blue Storm
Blue Storm won this race last year from just a pound higher than for this year’s renewal. Was only seen once more last year making one reappearance over course and distance earlier this month. The hope will be that he’s ready and raring to go after that tune up race. Has shown good form in races of this stature and should be there or thereabouts if fit and firing.

Tip 3 - 3:40 Newmarket - Westridge
Treble Tee is a worthy favourite carrying a 4lb penalty, but with the speed this race is traditionally run at, coupled with the uphill finish, it usually pays to have a performer who is proven over a bit further on your side. Westridge has two wins to his name over two furlongs further, which could come into play at the business end of this race. He has also won over a mile, which means he should have the tactical speed to lay up with the pace if required.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?
We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.
What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
Where Can I Watch the Daily Horse Racing Selections Run?
The best place is always on the racecourse but that’s not very practical so when it’s not on terrestrial TV with the likes of Sky Sports Racing and ITV (or ITV 4) then the best way to get instant access to live pictures is with a live streaming bookmaker – try these three below for the best of the bunch. We've also got a page specifically dedicated to Cheltenham Festival live streaming.
