Tip 1 - 1:15 Haydock - Suite Francaise

In receipt of some handy allowances the unexposed and improving Suite Francaise could surprise the colts and geldings here. Very impressive over course and distance last time out she never looked in any danger of being caught going from the front. That took her record at Haydock to two wins out of two, and has a great chance to make it a hattrick at the track on Saturday.

Tip 2 - 2:40 Ascot - Mister Bluebird

One of the more experienced horses in this race, Mister Bluebird enters proceedings in some of the best form of his life with form of 12123 dating back to victory at Goodwood in June. The seven-year-old is also at his highest rating in over two years but is just 1lb up from a second at Chepstow last month, where he finished just a neck off the pace.

Tip 3 - 3:10 Kempton - Super Soldier

Super Soldier has been something of an all-or-nothing horse in his first campaign. With a win, three seconds and two nowhere nears. A pair of runner-up spots have come in Listed and Group 2 company, so we know he can compete at this level. A new experience for he and most of the field on the all-weather, and his second on soft ground in Chantilly should stand him in good stead for a debut at Kempton here.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
