Tip 1 - 1:30 Sandown - Good Earth

On a seven-race losing streak and has only once really contended in that time, but Good Earth is back at a place the experienced eight-year-old seems to love. Has raced over course and distance three times, with two wins and a third, the last of which was his most recent win from one pound higher last August. Has flitted between Class 2 and 3 for most of his career and is back down to Class 4 here at a very appealing mark in conditions that will suit.

Tip 2 - 1:50 York - Little Empire

Having won convincingly last time out, this Irish-trained horse makes the journey over again to take another stab at winning some decent prize money. He has been raised 6lb for his win, but the horse he had behind him in second that day has subsequently won a race. This is a stronger race, but he could have something left in the tank.

Tip 3 - 2:15 Chester - Trust Sergei

Trust Sergei’s bid for a hat-trick last time out was ended by a shocking last place of 11 runners at Haydock last time out, with jockey Sean Bowen reporting that the three-year-old was never travelling. With that hopefully behind him and clearly not indicative of his ability, a return to the form that saw him win twice earlier this year is on the cards.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
