Tip 1 - 2:30 Ascot – Society Kiss

This race is often a minefield, with so many unexposed fillies taking each other on. Society Kiss gets the vote, after an impressive debut over course and distance. Ralph Beckett horses often come on a ton for their debut, and the fact that she drifted left under pressure that day suggests she’ll show the benefit of that experience. Ascot experience and proven ability to handle quick ground are huge pluses, and she should run a huge race.

Tip 2 - 3:40 Ascot - Running Lion

Defending champion Running Lion won this race last year and although she hasn’t fared spectacularly since then, a return to familiarity might be just the ticket. The five-year-old was a serial winner at the beginning of her career and a recent second to the joint-favourite in a Listed race at Haydock gives plenty of reason to believe she can make it back to the big time.

Tip 3 - 4:20 Ascot - Map Of Stars

French raider Map Of Stars has been hugely progressive in his four-year-old season, winning Group 3 and 2 races in France before going down by a neck in a Group 1 despite finding very little room and having to change line late on. Out of two Group 1 winners in Bateel and the indomitable Sea The Stars, he is bred for greatness, and he could be the one to watch at the finish line.

Tip 4 - 5:00 Ascot - Bullet Point

Bullet Point has been a revelation since being switched to handicaps, winning his last three and looking like he has a lot more to give each time. He is attempting to cope with an 8lb rise here, but he slammed his rivals that day winning unchallenged so he still might not be in the grip of the handicapper just yet.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
