The tennis odds are all pointing at a Djokovic win here but there are other bets outside the moneyline that could prove more attractive to bettors seeking bigger profits.

Djokovic in three sets

It’s perhaps a little basic to assume Djokovic will blow Berrettini away, but in reality a 3-0 victory on sets is not out of the question. Djokovic beat Berrettini in four at the French Open this year and grass is a more favored surface for the Serb.

What’s more, he has form of demolishing final opponents on Centre Court, having taken down Kevin Anderson in three back in 2018. He beat Denis Shapovalov in three deep sets on Friday and could well do the same again here.

First-break betting

Men’s tennis is all about strong serves and a gritty baseline defense – and Djokovic has that in abundance. He is a smart player who likes to dominate points. Berrettini has a monstrous serve in his arsenal but his return game could suffer against the 19-time Grand Slam champion. Djokovic seems a smart bet to claim the first break.

Aces over/under

This could be an ace-heavy final, with both men capable of delivering stinging serves. Berrettini nailed 20 aces in each of his first three matches at Wimbledon this year. Djokovic is less prolific but is nevertheless just as scary. If you can find a market that offers more than 12.5 aces in this match, then take it.

For all the talk of Berrettini potentially delivering an upset, in reality Djokovic is on course to match the record men’s Grand Slam tally of 20 co-owned by Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. Djokovic has been supreme during this Wimbledon and his baseline speed is unmatched. His moneyline betting odds are, however, so slim that he’s hardly worth backing unless part of a parlay.
