The popular sportsbook PointsBet has struck a multiyear deal with Sportradar to help bolster its in-play betting offerings by providing data across a range of sports.

Headquartered in St. Gallen, Switzerland, and with its U.S. operations based out of New York, Sportradar will become PointsBet’s supplier of choice for data on Major League Baseball, NBA, NHL, college football and college basketball betting. The agreement is the sixth that Sportradar has secured with a multi-state U.S. betting operator in 2021 alone.

The deal will incorporate a range of Sportradar pregame and live betting services, including odds suggestions, trading tools and live data, according to a Dec. 1 news release announcing the agreement. Sportradar will also provide live match trackers and live scores to engage audiences, as well as a live streaming service designed to complement the in-play betting experience.

“Like Sportradar, PointsBet continues to strengthen its position in the US betting market,” said Neale Deeley, managing director of U.S. betting for Sportradar, in a statement. “With the popularity of in-play betting exploding in the U.S., having fast, reliable, accurate data is critical to driving greater engagement amongst bettors. We look forward to working together to help PointsBet deliver a cutting-edge product to its consumers.”
