The Buffalo Bills are the top pick among NFL betting oddsmakers to win the AFC and reach Super Bowl 57. But what are the best Bills bets to back on NFL futures markets? We checked out the full betting board now that sports betting in Ontario is live and legal in the province.

In January, the Bills rolled into Kansas City for the divisional round and a rematch of the 2020 AFC Championship Game. The game was an instant classic, won by the Chiefs 42-36 in overtime. The Chiefs won the OT coin toss and rolled through a depleted and exhausted Bills defense to win it. That game was the final push for the NFL to change its OT rules, ensuring both teams get a possession in overtime during the playoffs.

The change comes too late for the Bills. But it wasn’t just the rule that cost the Bills. Buffalo was unable to prevent the Chiefs from scoring on their final three possessions of the game, including OT. The Bengals, meanwhile, forced a Patrick Mahomes II interception in OT of the AFC Championship Game a week later and bounced KC on the way to the Super Bowl.

With that as background, the Bills added linebacker Von Miller this offseason. Miller brings a championship resume to Buffalo. Last season, the Rams added Miller midseason for their title campaign. The move paid off handsomely. Miller delivered in the postseason, helping the Rams escape Tom Brady in the playoffs and stifle Joe Burrow in Super Bowl 56. Miller was also Super Bowl 50 MVP when he won his first NFL title with the Denver Broncos.

Buffalo lost CB Levi Wallace in free agency. The Bills will look to bolster their secondary in the upcoming NFL draft.

There is limited value in these markets on betting sites. And for good reason. The Bills have been priced at a premium since Tom Brady left the Patriots. Their market remains tight despite improvements made across the AFC. The conference has five new coaches and four new starting QBs.

With the advent of Canadian sports betting beginning this week in Ontario, it might be counterintuitive for new bettors to be cautious when wagering. Especially if they’re inclined to back the Bills. But these numbers demand it.

So where does backing the Bills make sense now?

Buffalo Bills Best Bets To Back

Bills Win Super Bowl 57

ODDS: +750 at bet365

ANALYSIS: We’ll keep it succinct. If the Bills can’t win the Super Bowl this season, they may never win it. The Chiefs are clearly in decline, and not just because they lost Tyreek Hill. The Patriots are rebuilding, again. The Chargers, Raiders and Broncos are all threats, but none have had any playoff success in their current form.

The Bengals jumped to the front of the pack last season, and finally gave Burrow an offensive line, but they’ll be getting everyone’s best this time around. It may all once again come down to the Bills vs. Brady. This time on the biggest stage around – at Super Bowl 57 in Glendale, Arizona.

Bills Over 11.5 Wins

ODDS: -125 at Caesars

ANALYSIS: The Bills finished 11-6 last season and won the AFC East with ease. But they could have won 13 games. That 12th win should not be so elusive this time. This year, the Bills have a comparatively soft schedule. They’ve also beaten the Patriots twice in a row now. The Bills kept much of their roster intact. They lost OC Brian Daboll to the Giants. But Allen is a veteran now. The real challenge remains adding the right pieces with limited cap space.

Josh Allen To Win MVP

ODDS: +900 at Caesars

ANALYSIS: This market is very competitive. Aaron Rodgers is back with the Packers and aiming at an MVP three-peat. Brady has solidified his role as GM/Coach/Player in Tampa Bay. It appears the return of Rob Gronkowski is a mere formality. With rumblings of a potential Julian Edelman arrival in Tampa Bay, Brady could approach 50 TDs and 5,500 yards passing.

Joe Burrow, Patrick Mahomes II and a new-and-improved Russell Wilson in Denver are also threats. But the Bills and Allen have just enough upside available where a stellar performance in the regular season could win over MVP voters. Especially if Allen can play better late in the season (after Thanksgiving). That has helped Rodgers win this award the past two seasons. Allen is at his athletic peak right now. This is his time to break through to the top echelon in the NFL.
