Week 4 was one of the wildest weeks in NFL history as a game was postponed until the middle of the year and another was moved from Sunday afternoon to Monday evening because of COVID-19 concerns. Week 5 looks to be far less chaotic, though the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions are on their bye week. To help you find success in DFS in Week 5, here are our best plays for this weekend, with prices from DraftKings.

Top DFS Team for Week 5

Best Week 5 DFS QB

Giants QB Daniel Jones ($5,400 at DraftKings)

Matchup: Giants at Cowboys

Every week, it appears that the Cowboys are going to give up 30 or more points. The only difficulty for a DFS player is deciding how opponents will attack Dallas' defense. In Week 5, it wouldn't be surprising at all if Giants QB Daniel Jones ends up with a huge performance.

Cleveland’s Baker Mayfield did not have a massive day against Dallas in Week 4, but the Cowboys are still allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing passers. Jones can make plays with his legs and arm, so don't be surprised if he totals well over 300 yards and scores multiple touchdowns in this game. At just $5,400, Jones is a great quarterback play this week at a very reasonable price.

Best Week 5 DFS RB

Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire ($6,800)

Matchup: Raiders at Chiefs

After a huge Week 1 performance against the Texans, Clyde Edwards-Helaire has been relatively quiet. He has not reached 65 rushing yards in any of the past three games, nor has he reached the end zone. But "CEH" has been involved in the passing game and that has helped him stay fantasy relevant as he has caught 14 passes for 129 yards this season.

Week 5 could be just what the rookie needs to get going as he faces a Las Vegas defense that has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing running backs. The Raiders are struggling to cover RBs out of the backfield and are also allowing 138 yards on the ground. In Week 3, they surrendered 250 yards to Patriots players like Rex Burkhead and J.J. Taylor.

Look for Edwards-Helaire to easily total over 100 yards in this game and potentially reach the end zone multiple times. He should be a lock to score 15 or more points but has a monster ceiling heading into Week 5. Check out latest Chiefs vs Raiders betting odds.

Best Week 5 DFS WR

Cowboys WR Michael Gallup ($5,400)

Matchup: Giants at Cowboys

The Cowboys' offense couldn't be hotter right now. It has scored 109 points over the past three weeks despite nine turnovers on offense. But despite those historic numbers, Michael Gallup has been the odd man out in three of the team's four games. Gallup caught nine passes for 138 yards and a touchdown in Week 3, but has scored a combined 20.7 fantasy points in the other three games this season.

However, Week 5 could be a monster day for Gallup against a Giants secondary that lacks cornerback talent. James Bradberry is expected to shadow Amari Cooper and that could leave Gallup one-on-one with Issac Yiadom and Darnay Holmes. As long as the Cowboys can protect Dak Prescott, he should be in for another enormous performance. At just $5,400, Gallup is a must-play this week given his upside and price.

Best Week 5 DFS TE

Cowboys TE Dalton Schultz ($4,800)

Matchup: Giants at Cowboys

Another Cowboy is a great play this week — tight end Dalton Schultz. Since becoming a starter in Week 2, Schultz has caught 17 passes for 208 yards and two touchdowns. He will face a Giants' defense that has allowed the seventh-fewest points to opposing tight ends this week, but New York doesn't have the linebackers or safeties to match up with him in the middle of the field. Prescott has routinely used the tight ends against the Giants over the last few seasons; we expect that to be the case again this week.

Schultz has a quad injury that needs to be monitored throughout the week, but he is a must-play at his current price. In this Cowboys' offense, he is performing like a top-tier tight end and his target volume isn't going away.

Best Week 5 DFS FLEX

Giants WR Darius Slayton ($4,800)

Matchup: Giants at Cowboys

If you are going to start Jones at quarterback, considering stacking him with one of his receivers. The best option this week could be Darius Slayton, who is the team's best receiver down the field. Slayton is averaging 15.7 yards per reception this season and is seeing more than seven targets per game. If this game turns out to be a high-scoring, back-and-forth contest, Slayton could see close to double-digit targets.

It's also worth noting that the Cowboys have allowed the second-most points to opposing receivers. Slayton should see some high-leverage targets in this contest and is a good bet to lead the team in receiving yards. At less than $5,000, Slayton is a high-upside flex play and a perfect stack with Jones. Check out latest Cowboys vs Giants betting odds.
