Week 4 was another excellent week for us at Bookies.com as we correctly picked league-winning players in most DFS such as Christian McCaffrey (33.9 points), Chris Godwin (44.2 points) and T.J. Hockenson (11.7 points). Week 5 looks to be another profitable week with values across all positions.

Best Week 5 DFS QB

Falcons QB Matt Ryan ($5,900 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Atlanta Falcons at Houston Texans

Matt Ryan is one of the best values for Week 5, even though there are more mobile QBs with more upside. Ryan has yet to have a game this season where he has scored fewer than 19.5 points, and he has exceeded 23 points in three other games. Through the first month of the season, he's averaging over 330 passing yards per game and two touchdowns.

In Week 5, the Falcons will take on the Texans, who allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks. However, they have yet to play an offense as dynamic as Atlanta, and this one very well could turn into a shoot-out in Houston as the point total is set at 49 (third-most in Week 5).

Expect both sides to do a lot of scoring and for Ryan to surpass 300 passing yards as he has done in every week of the season so far. If Ryan can throw two or more touchdowns, don't be surprised if he ends up being the highest-scoring quarterback for Week 5.

Best Week 5 DFS RB

Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott ($8,300 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Green Bay Packers at Dallas Cowboys

NFL Week 5 DFS Top Players and Best Team to Play on Sunday 1

If you are going to pay for an elite running back this week, look no further than Ezekiel Elliott of the Cowboys. He's the fourth-most expensive back this week ($8,300), but he is arguably the safest play of them all. Elliott has played three career games against the Packers (including the playoffs) and has totaled 429 yards on 83 touches.

Green Bay has proven to have a weak run defense as they allowed Jordan Howard to gash them for 87 yards and three touchdowns on just 15 carries.

With Dallas having one of the league's best rushing attacks and playing at home, it seems likely that Elliott will gain at least 100 total yards and score once in this contest. Look for the All-Pro running back to have a monster day at home against the Packers.

Best Week 5 DFS WR

Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders - ($5,100 on DraftKings)

Matchup:Denver Broncos at Los Angeles Chargers

The Denver Broncos certainly don't have the most exciting offense in the world, but that doesn't mean value can't be found. One of the most consistent receivers in football this season has been Emmanuel Sanders despite coming off a torn Achilles in 2018.

Sanders has three weeks with at least 18 fantasy points, as he has seen at least five targets in every single game.

In Week 5, the Broncos will take on the Chargers in Los Angeles, and it's a neutral matchup for Sanders as the Chargers have allowed the 16th-most fantasy points to opposing receivers.

But at the mere cost of $5,100, Sanders is a must-play as a WR2 or WR3 this week. Expect the former SMU receiver to reach to come close to 20 fantasy points for the fourth time this season.

Best Week 5 DFS TE

Packers TE Jimmy Graham ($4,300 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Green Bay Packers at Dallas Cowboys

NFL Week 5 DFS Top Players and Best Team to Play on Sunday 2

Heading into Week 5, the Packers will travel to Dallas to take on the Cowboys in a critical NFC matchup. However, Green Bay will likely be without their top receiver in Davante Adams as he deals with a toe injury.

That means tight end Jimmy Graham could get even more looks against a Cowboys' defense that has allowed the third-most fantasy points to tight ends.

While Graham's usage has been sporadic with the Packers, the team doesn't have many other options to rely on this week, specifically in the red zone. And if this game turns into a shoot-out, it wouldn't be a total shock for Graham to exceed double-digit targets for this first time this season. At the price of $4,300, there is some massive upside here for the Packers' tight end.

Best Week 5 DFS Flex

Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery ($5,900 on DraftKings)

Matchup: New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles

There are several intriguing flex options this week for less than $6,000, but no one offers as much upside and as high of a floor as Eagles' wide receiver Alshon Jeffery. After missing most of Week 2 and all of Week 3 with a calf injury, Jeffery returned to the field in Week 4 as he caught three passes for 38 yards and a score.

What was the most encouraging was that quarterback Carson Wentz continued to target his No. 1 receiver despite him not being fully healthy. He finished the game with nine targets despite clearly not being 100 percent healthy.

Entering Week 5, Jeffery had 10 days off as the Eagles last played on Thursday night. And with DeSean Jackson still out of the lineup, Jeffery figures to see extensive work once again this week against a subpar Jets' secondary. Look for the former South Carolina receiver to have a big game at home this week. Check out latest Giants vs Eagles betting odds.
