It was hoped at the start of the season that Blackpool would be fighting for promotion in League One, but a disastrous start to the season sees them managerless and second bottom in the table. Ian Evatt Favourite For Role

Ian Evatt was one of the key figures during Blackpool’s rise to the Premier League, becoming a stalwart in defence and remaining in high regard by the Tangerines faithful even now, 15 years on, so his appointment would certainly be welcomed.

He’s been without a job since leaving Bolton Wanderers in January this year, a club he guided to promotion from League Two in his first season in 2021 and then won the EFL Trophy two years later, and so a return to Bloomfield Road could be on the cards for Evatt if top UK betting sites are to be believed.

Sean Dyche Willing to Return to Management in League One?

Ian Holloway Ready For Shock Return to Blackpool?

Having led Blackpool to the promised land of the Premier League, Ian Holloway will be an obvious candidate for the Tangerines to consider. And he may enjoy working under the new ownership more than what he had to endure during his time there previously.

After taking Blackpool so far in his previous stint at the club, including a historic league double over Liverpool, he will no doubt be welcomed by the fans should he be appointed.
