Luton Town are searching for another new manager following Matt Bloomfield's sacking with the club in mid-table in League One, a far cry from the expected promotion push. Bloomfield took over from Rob Edwards in January after the team struggled to compete in the Championship just one year removed from their Premier League berth.
This year they were expected to challenge for promotion and return straight back up the Championship, with most betting sites giving them a decent shot of doing just that. At the time of Bloomfield's departure, the club sit 11th and have won just one of their last five in the league. With a number of names linked at the best football betting sites, there is sure to be plenty of interest in who will replace Bloomfield.
The early favourite is former Notts County and Swansea manager Luke Williams, who is known for employing an expansive style of football, while Football League stalwarts Ian Evatt and Richie Wellens are also in the frame, according to the odds at the best betting apps.

Luke Williams Ready For Return?
Luke Williams was a popular appointment at Swansea after the work he had done at Notts County. However, that soon turned sour and he was sacked in February this year. However, he still has respect for getting County promoted back into the Football League and having them in the playoff spots of League Two when he left for Wales.
A job in League One with one of the bigger teams around seems like a decent fit for Williams in first role back in football. Most Trustly betting sites think he could be a good shout for the job.
Richie Wellens An Experienced Football League Hand
Luton Town will be casting the net far and wide to find the right candidate to replace Matt Bloomfield and get them promoted back to the Championship. Perhaps they will approach Leyton Orient boss Richie Wellens, who has two promotions on his CV from spells at Swindon and Orient.
Wellens has done an impressive job with Orient, but there may be an argument that he has taken them as far as he can and may wish to join a bigger club. And odds at Apple Pay betting sites suggest he could be a strong candidate.

Former Premier League Names Next in the Luton Town Betting
There are a number of recently departed Premier League managers who appear to be viable candidates for this role, with the likes of Sean Dyche and Russell Martin in the frame, according to the best betting sites in the UK. Martin was employed at Rangers until earlier this month, where he was given the sack just 17 games into a disastrous campaign, and he may look to rehabilitate his reputation away from the brighter lights of the top divisions.
Sean Dyche has plenty of experience as a manager with Watford, Burnley and Everton. Given his track record, you would presume a team higher up the football pyramid would interest Dyche a bit more than Luton, but he is on the market with most fast withdrawal betting sites.
One other intriguing name is Jack Wilshere, who is looking for his managerial big break. He coached the Arsenal youth team before moving on to be one of Norwich's first team coaches last season, where he was overlooked for their manager role this summer. He is a name to watch at top UK betting sites.
