Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.

Tip 1 - 1:35 Wincanton - Jimmyjeroo

It might sound strange to say about a yard that’s approaching 10 years since its last winner, but the Henrietta Knight stable is in pretty good shape at the moment. Six of her seven runners have been in the first four in the past two weeks. Jimmyjeroo has gone off at massive prices in his four runs to date, finishing in midfield in his two most recent hurdles runs. Now sent handicapping and up markedly in trip, he could improve and give his yard a long-overdue win.

Tip 2 - 2:15 Market Rasen - Felton Bellevue

Felton Bellevue is a horse who has found winning tricky in his career, but conditions should be right for a big run here. Three-time winner from 22 chases, including over course and distance in his only visit here two years ago from a mark a pound higher than the 94 he has here. Last won at Southwell in May from today’s 94. Will like a bit of cut in the ground and drops back in trip here so will be ready to make it a real stamina test.

Tip 3 - 2:35 Wincanton - Striking A Pose

Sherborne heads the market but he pulled up on his only attempt at an extended trip, so he could struggle over three miles in tough conditions. The softer ground should suit Striking A Pose who couldn’t go quick enough on good ground when the pace was upped last time out. His cause is helped by Freddie Gingell taking off a handy 3lb with his claim.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
