Tip 1 - 2.15 Fakenham – Collingham

Seven-time hurdle winner Collingham has enjoyed a good year despite only racing twice, first winning on his first run in 270 days back in March and then picking up a respectable third last time out in April. That victory two months ago saw him beat one of today’s main rivals Honneur d’Ajonc by a length, making it seven distance victories for this seven-year-old.

Tip 2 - 3:30 Ffos Las - Baseline

Baseline has had just five runs across his two-and-a-half year career, but he’s shown plenty of promise, finishing second twice. Each of those runner-up finishes came under Micheal Nolan, with the most recent coming on chase debut at Wetherby in March. Today’s good ground should suit, and there’s reason to believe Baseline could keep on improving through the summer, given how few miles he has on the clock.

Tip 3 - 3:45 Fakenham - Raby Mere

A mare with not too many races under her belt makes her debut for Ollie Murphy today, and you would suspect it wouldn’t be too much of a shock if the change of trainer can bring about some improvement. Raby Mere arrives in the UK on a lowly mark of 86, so if the new scenery can get her fired up she could be dangerous.

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
