Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.

Do be aware that betting on horse racing is difficult to win consistently, that’s why we only use the best analysts and tipsters in the UK and Ireland to give their advice on this page. Previous performance is no guarantee of future success and you should only bet with what you can afford to lose.

Tip 1 - 1:38 Southwell - Angel Of Antrim

Angel Of Antrim has won on each of his last four starts, all of which have come over this distance and he figures to be amongst the reckoning today. This is a step up both in terms of grade and mark, as he goes off 10lb heavier than his most recent outing, but his performances at Newcastle and Wolverhampton this year make him a force to be reckoned with.

Tip 2 - 1:55 Newbury - Sherminator

Nicky Henderson has the warm favourite for this race, but his horses are always worth taking on when the ground is soft. Sherminator put in a couple of decent performances in his first two starts, so probably has the best form in bumpers. If he takes so hurdling he could be dangerous in this field, especially with Harry Cobden booked for the first time.

Tip 3 - 2:30 Clonmel - Addragoole

Addragoole has made a frustrating but promising start to his career. After finishing second on all five of his first career starts, he got lost in the fog in a handicap hurdle at Leopardstown. Back in a maiden, in a race full of dead wood, it seems he only needs to beat a Willie Mullins horse returning from over a year off on first run in Ireland. Addragoole has a solid profile and looks like the value pick.

Tip 4 - 2:48 Hereford - Santos Blue

Knight Of Allen looks a real prospect, but we plump for the known quantity in Santos Blue, winner of five handicaps of varying degrees of standard in the last two years. Has a great record over today’s trip, with three wins from five and should come on plenty for his seasonal reappearance in December. Is Dan Skelton’s only runner today at Hereford, where he has a 79 percent win and place strike rate in the last five seasons with a level stakes profit of £11.37.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
