Tip 1 - 1:00 Epsom - Bermuda Longtail

Bermuda Longtail took her form to a new level last time out, losing to the still unbeaten and impressive looking Kon Tiki in what was a great performance considering it was her first run on turf. As the only three year old in the field, she can take advantage of the handy allowances today. And as there doesn’t seem to be a superstar in the field, a repeat of her last run might be enough at the weights.

Tip 2 - 2:10 Epsom - Ruby’s Profit

It’s no wonder that Ruby’s Profit has been installed as favourite in this race with two wins in three outings this season, all over 5f. It took the three-year-old some time to find her level after being thrown into Class 1s at the start of her career last year, but she’s improving all the time and even a 6lb rise is unlikely to damage her effort for this one.

Tip 3 - 3:30 Epsom - Tuscan Hills e/w

The market has struggled to find a favourite for this. Delacroix went to the top of the betting a couple of weeks ago, but only as a result of The Lion In Winter’s Dante flop. Ruling Court and Pride of Arras have stamina to prove, for all that connections are confident. Of the rest, there’s a bunch of them who all appear to be at a similar level, and those who look to have no chance.

Tuscan Hills, representing Amo Racing, is an interesting-looking outsider. Seventh in the Dante on his seasonal reappearance, he’s expected to come on a lot for the run. That was very much a prep run for the Derby, and he could outrun his odds for the same team that’s had a 50/1 and 66/1 runner-up in this race in the last four years.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
