Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.

Do be aware that betting on horse racing is difficult to win consistently, that’s why we only use the best analysts and tipsters in the UK and Ireland to give their advice on this page. Previous performance is no guarantee of future success and you should only bet with what you can afford to lose.

Tip 1 - 1:37 Musselburgh - Spartan Warrior

Don’t let hurdling form of 3356 put you off - Spartan Warrior has a lot more to give on the flat. The four-year-old is completely unexposed at this distance, having previously only run at 1m4f and under, but his recent hurdling experience over this length should play in his favour and allow him to compete in a small field, especially as this is a much lower grade than the Class 2 fares he’s been running in recently.

Tip 2 - 2:55 Exeter - Moonlight Artist

First time back after a wind op could be the time to catch Moonlight Artist, who's back for another spin over fences after not getting home over hurdles last time out. His only win over hurdles came at this track, so he does have fond memories of Exeter. His chase mark today is 13lb lower than he ran off for that win, so he could be thrown in if the surgery and tongue tie has the desired effect.

Tip 3 - 3:55 Exeter - Inside Man

Didn’t appear to appreciate the heavy ground last time out and has never really been seen to best effect on softer ground. The good ground here could coax out more improvement from the penultimate run at Exeter where he won well. Seeyouinmydreams looks an obvious danger back in trip, but a mark of 117 - down two pounds for the fourth on heavy last time out - should still be workable for this five-year-old.

Tip 4 - 4:02 Gowran Park - Broadstone

Broadstone hasn’t been seen since finishing fifth on debut at the Curragh in August, in a race that has worked out well. Two Aidan O’Brien horses were among those who finished in front of him that day, with both now rated over 100. Jessie Harrington has had her share of seasonal debutant winners already this year, and Broadstone should be ready to go, having been gelded and having a hood fitted.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).

The best place is always on the racecourse but that’s not very practical so when it’s not on terrestrial TV with the likes of Sky Sports Racing and ITV (or ITV 4) then the best way to get instant access to live pictures is with a live streaming bookmaker – try these three below for the best of the bunch.
