The lightly-raced Revival Power has enjoyed a tremendous start to her career with three wins and a second in just five outings, including a Listed victory at York in August. She is used to 5f already with all five of her runs coming over that distance, and enters this off the back off an impressive Group 2 win at Doncaster last month.

Tip 2 - 2:40 York - Parole d’Oro
Things haven’t quite gone to plan for Parole d’Oro since stepping up to 1m2f for his last two runs. He had absolutely no luck in running at Glorious Goodwood before finding himself held up in a slowly run race at Windsor. His yard’s current form is a mild concern, with just one win from their last 19 runners, but Michael Bell’s 3yo still has potential at this trip and is given another chance.

Tip 3 - 3:30 Newmarket - Respond
This looks there for the taking for the improving Respond. Lightly raced and still improving he looks like he could be much better than his mark of 88 going forward. Got on the board nicely in a Maiden showing he knows where the winning post is, and was doing his best work late in both of those races so this step up in trip today should be exactly what he needs.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
