Tip 1 - 2:10 Down Royal - Quinn The Eskimo

It's a story as old as time - a horse with three disappointing runs in maidens at huge prices improving for the switch to handicapping. That's what we saw last time out at Fairyhouse from Quinn The Eskimo, who stepped up on all previous form to finish fourth. That run, his first in almost three months, should have him spot on for this, and trainer Paul Nolan won't have made the trip from Wexford to Down Royal just to take in the sights.

Tip 2 - 3:05 Windsor - Scoville

It might be a bit of a stretch to tip a horse on debut, but Scoville really does jump off the page. He has the pedigree and price tag to be very good, and represents a William Haggas yard in tremendous form (three winners from last seven runners, 26% strike rate for last 14 days). Expected favourite, Vecu, has been beaten at a short price in his last three runs, and sets a standard Scoville could easily be better than.

Tip 3 - 3:35 Curragh - Atsila

Atsila steps up in class here, having made an impressive debut at Bellewstown last month. Form that track doesn't carry the same kind of weight as the likes of the Curragh or Leopardstown, but there was plenty of substance to it. She beat an 85-rated rival, and did it quite comfortably. With that being her debut, there's every reason to think she might improve for the run. She looks overpriced to follow up.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
