Tip 1 - 1:45 Redcar - Blazing

With none of those that have made their debuts setting any decent standards, this should go to one of the newcomers, and one of the most eye-catching is Blazing. He is related to a few horses who found the winner's enclosure at two years old, including the talented Ornate. With the yard going well over the last few weeks, he could be primed to pick this up.

Tip 2 - 3:00 Carlisle - Water Of Leith

This sprint expert picked up his 11th such win last week with victory over 5f at Catterick, and Water Of Leith is now bidding for a third of 2025. Many of his recent runs have come at grades higher than today’s effort, and two career wins at this course sets him in good stead against a small field that have largely been struggling of late.

Tip 3 - 3:30 Carlisle - Jonny Concrete

Iain Jardine’s four-year-old is bidding for a hat-trick, albeit spread over the last seven months. Seasonal reappearance was a narrow win over seven furlongs but shaped as if the shorter six furlongs would suit better. Has been successful over today’s trip and doesn’t mind it here, with two decent seconds from two races and should run his race.

Tip 4 - 5:20 Windsor - Maharajas Express

Maharajas Express had been in cracking form on the all-weather before a disappointing return to turf earlier this month. Forced to race wide and hampered at a crucial stage, he was eventually eased to avoid too hard a race, and it may be best to forgive that run. Connections clearly feel turf should hold no concerns, as he was sent off co-favourite for that race, and compensation may await here at Windsor.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
