NFL survivor pools have exploded in popularity, and at levels for all kinds of fans, from family pools to those with thousands of dollars in cash prizes on the line. The simple nature of it is a major draw for NFL betting: Survivor pools entail picking one team to win each week, but never picking the same team twice.

It's not how much your team wins by in a survivor pool. Simply, it's about picking a winner and moving on -- and sometimes saving the biggest favorite for a future week.

We reveal our pick, confident that it will get you to the next week of your survivor pool and put you in good position for the final weeks of the season. Here is the pick for Week 15:

Tennessee Titans over Detroit Lions

It’s always a risk to back a team that sports a 29th-ranked pass defense, especially in today’s NFL. But the Titans have figured out how to be good without a top-tier defensive backfield, much like last week’s survivor pick, the Seahawks.

While Seattle relies on the play of Russell Wilson, Tennessee has learned to hop on the back of Derrick Henry, especially of late. The Titans have won three of four, and in those three victories Henry has averaged 27 carries for 175 yards and two TDs.

Next up on his path of destruction is the Detroit Lions. Only three teams have allowed more rushing yards than the Lions. Couple that with their nearly-as-horrid pass defense, and Ryan Tannehill’s masterful play-action game can make Detroit pay if it puts too many resources into slowing the unslowable Henry.

To make matters more challenging for the Lions, QB Matthew Stafford (ribs) and WR1 Kenny Golladay (hip) are likely to miss the game. Stafford has been solid since coach Matt Patricia was replaced by interim Darrell Bevell. Chase Daniel is a capable fill-in, but Stafford is everything to this franchise. He missed the final nine games of 2019, and Detroit lost them all.

Other Week 15 Contenders

Baltimore Ravens: The Ravens offense was unstoppable vs. a solid Browns unit. It should score enough points against a Bengals team that scored more than nine points just once since Joe Burrow was lost for the year.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Tom Brady & Co. have lost to playoff contenders, but they crush lesser competition. The Falcons are ailing and struggling.
