What are the most – and least – watchable NFL games this week? Check out our 2025 NFL Week 5 Watchability Index to find out.

Bookies.com analyzed each contest on the 272-game regular season schedule and ranked every NFL game based on its watchability to create our Bookies.com Watchability Index (BWI).

To determine our NFL Week 5 Watchability Index, we use an algorithm that factors in the following: NFL betting lines, projected wins, and Super Bowl odds from the top sports betting sites, plus the game day atmosphere/weather, major off-field storylines, and the game’s availability on national TV or streaming service.

The 2025 NFL Week 5 Watchability Index features the 1 p.m. FOX national game between the undefeated Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles playing at home against the Denver Broncos.

Let's look at our Week 5 breakdown.

Here are the games as ranked for the NFL Week 5 Watchability Index. Games are listed with their date, BWI score, and spread at DraftKings. Games are listed by highest score first. Ties are broken by point spread, with the lower point spread being deemed more watchable given the probability of a closer outcome.

Can The Philadelphia Eagles Stay Undefeated?

In Philadelphia, Tom Brady makes the call for FOX as the 4-0 Super Bowl champs play host to the Denver Broncos. That game tops our NFL Week 5 Watchability Index. The Broncos made the playoffs last year under then-first-year coach Sean Payton and then-rookie QB Bo Nix. The Eagles' defense showed some cracks in the second of Philly’s 31-25 win over the Bucs. But Nix faces another tough test.

The defense has begun to gang up on Saquon Barkley. The Buccaneers limited him to 43 yards on 19 carries. Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts need to open the passing game earlier against Denver’s often stingy defense.

Titans At Cardinals Rank As Lowest Game Of 2025

Our lowest-rated game of the season in our NFL Week 5 Watchability Index – thus far -  takes place at State Farm Stadium Sunday afternoon, as the winless Titans limp into Glendale to face the Cardinals. That game rates a 22 on the BWI. The highest-scoring game of the season, the Eagles-Chiefs Super Bowl rematch in Week 2, scored a 66.

The New York Giants, Cleveland Browns and Tennessee Titans appeared 5 times on our Top 25 Least Watchable Games list this preseason.

How We Did It: Creating The NFL Watchability Index

Multiple factors were used in creating an algorithm for the Bookies.com NFL Watchability Index. Each of the 272 games on the NFL schedule was scored (and recalculated weekly) for the following:

  • WIN DISPARITY: Projected Win Totals Combined; Minus Win Total Disparity
  • ADJUSTED SB ODDS: Weighted Average of Each Team’s Odds to Win the Super Bowl at BetMGM, with the most points going to the team (Buffalo) favored to win the Super Bowl. And the least points given the longest shot on the board (Tennessee).
  • POINT SPREAD: Weighted point spread for each game. A pick’em gets 20 points, a 1-point spread 19 points, a 2-point spread 18 points, and so on.

Individual matchups were also awarded 3 points each if they included:

  • Are scheduled in prime time or in a national network slot; or are available on Amazon Prime or Netflix
  • Include a major secondary storyline in addition to the game itself (i.e., Aaron Rodgers’ return to a former NFL team; a playoff rematch; a traditional rivalry; or offer a potential playoff preview, etc.)
  • Have potential for extreme weather, or an impactful crowd
  • Ties are broken by point spread, with the lower point spread being deemed more watchable.
