A large slate of games for Thursday night in the NHL, nine in all. A lot of pick’em style games, too, but we can see some trends to help prospective NHL bettors here.
As always, odds are current as of publication, but you can get the latest lines on our NHL daily odds page.
For those of you just here for the NHL betting picks, here you go:

Today's Best NHL Bets
PICK 1: Lightning-Bruins under
In the last 11 games between these two teams, the total has gone under seven times. I like eight out of 12 here in this game between two of the top teams in the East, to be played in Boston. Andrei Vasilevskiy looked good in goal for the Lightning in Wednesday’s 3-1 win in Montreal.
Boston has allowed only 10 goals in its first six games, and the Bruins possess a 5-1-0 record. Their overall team defense has been very solid. Check out and compare all the latest Lightning-Bruins odds.
PICK 2: Blues moneyline
The defending Stanley Cup champion Blues come home after being on the road for four games, a trip that included a stop at the White House. They only got one of the last four points on the trip, too, so they should be good and mad coming into this one.
Sometimes, the first home game after a long road trip can be a weird one for teams, but the Blues are too much a veteran group to fall into that trap. Vancouver has a 3-2-0 record, but the Canucks are 0-2 on the road. Check out and compare all the latest Canucks-Blues odds.
PICK 3: Artemi Panarin to score
The Bread Man scored a goal in each of the New York Rangers’ first two games, both victories. He did not score and went a minus-3 in New York’s last game, Saturday against Edmonton. He has had a lot of time to stew about that and I think he gets back on the score sheet again against a New Jersey Devils team that still has yet to win a game.
The Rangers have only played the three games. They probably have been going a little stir crazy. I think Panarin is the kind of guy to take advantage of that, against one of the worst defensive teams in the league so far. I like Panarin to score at DraftKings. Check out and compare all the latest Rangers-Devils odds.
