Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.

Tip 1 - 2:00 Thurles - Added Bonus

After a solid run over hurdles last time out following a break, Added Bonus arrives today in fine form, looking to win this race for the third year in a row. He’s showing no signs of slowing down, despite being an 11yo, having gone close off a pound lower at Tipperary last July. With Darragh O’Keeffe taking over in the saddle from an amateur, everything points towards a big run.

Tip 2 - 3:05 Ffos Las – Shady B

Shady B has only had one outing this winter but it was a solid third at Uttoxeter over this distance on New Year’s Eve, with wind surgery last month putting paid to any further runs until today. Stamina may be a concern but he comes in 1lb lighter than that third and the seven-year-old recorded a second and a first in March after wind surgery this time last year.

Tip 3 - 3:30 Huntingdon - Tuscan Rose

Rockola is the clear favourite on course form and ratings, but there is reason to believe she won’t be winning. The five-year-old is stepping up in trip by over half a mile, so there are questions to be answered, and pulling along 12st is a tough assignment. Tuscan Rose has shown good consistency of late and won at her only attempt at three miles in March last year. Gets over a stone on the favourite and should find the distance to her liking.

Tip 4 - 4.20 Thurles - Mighty Solider

Mighty Solider is in here off a very lowly mark, considering he flashed a bit of ability last time out. In that race he looked like he didn’t have the pace to get involved and was getting closer towards the business end, so the extra three furlongs today could show him to better effect. Connections have turned him out quickly after that run, which suggests they think he’s ready to win one.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).

Where Can I Watch the Daily Horse Racing Selections Run?

The best place is always on the racecourse but that’s not very practical so when it’s not on terrestrial TV with the likes of Sky Sports Racing and ITV (or ITV 4) then the best way to get instant access to live pictures is with a live streaming bookmaker – try these three below for the best of the bunch.
