Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.

Do be aware that betting on horse racing is difficult to win consistently, that’s why we only use the best analysts and tipsters in the UK and Ireland to give their advice on this page. Previous performance is no guarantee of future success and you should only bet with what you can afford to lose.

Tip 1 - 2:17 Dundalk - Just Jump

Red Evolution is expected to be a warm order for this, but has plenty to prove. He’s got a lofty rating of 85 thanks to some big runs in decent maidens as a 2yo, but finished stone last on his only visit to Dundalk. Preference is for Just Jump. He was a very close third over six furlongs here last month, and faded late over the same trip here two weeks ago. The drop to the minimum trip should suit and he has fewer question marks than the short-priced favourite.

Tip 2 - 2:47 Dundalk – Autocrat

A three-time course-and-distance winner, with the most recent coming in November, Autocrat faces a stiff test to repeat the feat but has all the tools to pick up another victory here. His two most recent runs over a longer distance proved he doesn’t quite have the stamina as he tailed off in the final 100 yards or so, but a drop down to his favourite 1m3f should allow him to thrive once again.

Tip 3 - 4.47 Dundalk - Anvika

A competitive handicap in which a few at the top of the market hold chances. Volatile Analyst won well last time out but a 10lb rise will be hard to cope with. Hightimeyouwon, Exquisite Acclaim and Anvika all ran well last time out, but Anvika somehow escaped a hike in the weights for her second place despite finishing clear of the rest of the field. The four year old is lightly raced on the surface and clearly has improvement in her, so can pick up her second win on the all-weather.

Tip 4 - 5:00 Kempton - Swatch

A tricky opener at Kempton with plenty of horses with question marks against their names, but Swatch looks like he should give a good account of himself. Won at Wolverhampton in December but then flopped eight days later. He’s not used to having such quick turnarounds and could be more comfortable after more than a month off and claimer Ben Pollard taking off five pounds.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
