Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.

Tip 1 - 12:25 Lingfield - Blue Yonder

Backing Blue Yonder should come with a health warning. In 31 career starts, he’s won five times and finished dead last 11 times, including on six of his last seven runs. Consistency has never been his strength. He beat just two rivals in three races before his most recent win, off a mark of 70 at Newbury in June. Now racing off 12 pounds lower, he’s too well-handicapped to ignore.

Tip 2 - 2:25 Lingfield - Overnight Oats

Overnight Oats has been beaten favourite in both of his last two races, but they came right after a four-timer pushed his mark up from a lowly 46 to 63 - the last one seemed a furlong too short. The mark is down a pound to 62 now, and he has previous form of winning off marks of 66 and 70 in the past. The step back up to a flat mile should suit nicely, and his yard is in decent form with three winners from the last eight to post.

Tip 3 - 2:38 Catterick - Diamond Koda

The ultra-consistent Diamond Koda can finally get his head in front at the ninth attempt under rules now he is back up to an intermediate trip. He hasn’t ran poorly in his starts over hurdles, but has just lacked a turn of pace to get the job done over two miles. He should finally be able to get the job done here with the longer trip placing more of an emphasis on stamina.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
