Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated. Since March 1st 2024, our racing tips are 8.33 points up, with 46 tipped winners and six placed each way selections in that time.

Tip 1 - 2:55 Ayr - Classy Al

Classy Al boasts a solid win ratio in his career for this sort of level, having won four of his 28 career starts. All four of those wins have come here at Ayr, with two of them over course and distance. He’s not the easiest of rides as he’s often slowly away, but he travelled through his race very smoothly last time out, before hanging late and finishing third. With Harry Davies taking over from a five pound claimer and his mark remaining unchanged, he should have another win in him.

Tip 2 - 3:30 Ayr - Highwaygrey

We tipped up this horse on his last run, where he really disappointed at Carlisle last month, but we return because conditions could be right for a big run from the eight-year-old. He's down a pound from last time out to a mark of 66 and has previously won over course and distance from a mark of 75 and has previously won off a mark of 86. Dropping in class, this gives a pretty good chance to get back in the winner’s enclosure.

Tip 3 - 3:45 Worcester - Liverpool Knight

This looks a really open race with a number of intriguing options on the market, and we go for Liverpool Knight who needs to answer stamina questions after the first run at 2m4f last month didn’t deliver the required response. If he takes to the extra distance, he could be extremely well treated off a mark of 119 having comfortably won in a higher class last season at Market Rasen. His form of last season is as strong as any of the contenders, and he came away with two huge wins in July last year, so we’re hoping for the same bounce.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
