Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.

Tip 1 - 2:30 Ayr - Desert Quest

If you’re going off the marks of our choice compared to the two horses at the top of the betting in It’s All About You and Ravenscraig Castle, Desert Quest shouldn’t have a chance. However, he is well handicapped to go close in this race having won it two years ago from just two pounds lighter. He has run well in defeat a couple of times this spring and summer before having excuses when stumbling at the start at Musselburgh last time out. Has previously won from two pounds higher so should be a player.

Tip 2 - 2:45 Cartmel - Fairmac

There’s enough reason to take on the runners at the top of the market. Jolie Coeur Allen had seven runs and failed to win for Willie Mullins, Cavern Club is short considering it’s his hurdling debut and A Day To Dream failed to get past the first hurdle last time out. At the prices, Lucinda Russell’s Fairmac is the pick. A six-time winner on the flat, he could be good enough to win this if taking to jumps.

Tip 3 - 4:15 Ayr - Eternal Sunshine

A few unexposed sorts in this showing a bit of promise this season, including our pick, Eternal Sunshine, who is going for a third win in a row. Has really appreciated the quick ground last two races, including when winning with plenty to spare over course and distance two weeks ago. This ground won’t be as fast, but she’s clearly in great form and looks like she could eventually compete off a far higher mark than today’s 58.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).

Where Can I Watch the Daily Horse Racing Selections Run?
