Week 7 of the NFL betting season offers us the long-awaited rematch of Super Bowl 58. Whether it is also a preview of Super Bowl 59 remains more of an issue for the San Francisco 49ers than it does for the Kansas City Chiefs.

The two-time defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs are coming off a bye heading into the National Game of The Week on Fox. They are undefeated this season and haven’t lost a game since last December.

Week 7 begins with the Denver Broncos and Sean Payton visiting the New Orleans Saints. This marks the return of former Saints head coach Payton, who left the Saints after the 2021 season after coaching the team for 15 seasons.

The Jets play host to the Steelers in the Sunday night game on NBC.

The Monday night doubleheader is back, as well. The Ravens visit Tampa Bay in the early slot starting at 8:15 pm EDT on ESPN. The Cardinals head to SoFi to face the Rams in the later game, only available outside those markets on ESPN+.

NFL Week 7 Picks, Betting Predictions & Best Bets To Back

NFL Week 7 Picks, Betting Predictions & Best Bets To Back 1

Thursday, October 17
Broncos at Saints, 8:15 p.m. (Prime Video)

Buzz: Sean Payton’s homecoming will crank up the decibels inside the Caesars Superdome. Payton coached the Saints for 15 seasons before heading to Denver ahead of the 2022 season. The Broncos have surprised on the upside. Thanks to both a solid defense and, finally, the development of rookie Bo Nix (making just his 7th NFL start) into a serviceable QB. The Saints counter Nix with Derek Carr. The longtime NFL QB is starting his 166th NFL game. The Saints are underdogs in this game. At least in the early nine.

Best Bet: Saints +1.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Sunday, October 20
Patriots vs. Jaguars (London), 9:30 a.m. (NFL Network)

Buzz: The British already lost the Revolutionary War. This is just unfair.

Best Bet: Patriots +5.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Lions at Vikings, 1 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: NFC North supremacy is at stake. The 5-0 Vikings and Sam Darnold are coming off their bye. This is Darnold’s biggest test yet.

Best Bet: Vikings -1.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Texans at Packers, 1 p.m. (CBS)

Buzz: Two of the league’s most dynamic young QBs meet on the plush tundra of Lambeau Field. C.J. Stroud and Jordan Love. The Texans are slower on natural turf. Green Bay’s defense holds sway here.

Best Bet: Under 47.5 Points (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Seahawks at Falcons, 1 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: Angry Birds 2024. The Falcons should chirp at home.

Best Bet: Falcons -2.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Eagles at Giants, 1 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: Loser gets Bill Belichick

Best Bet: Giants +3.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Bengals at Browns , 1 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: Winner gets Ohio State.

Best Bet: Over 44.5 Points (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Dolphins at Colts , 1 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: QB roulette. Tyler Huntley? Skylar Thompson? Joe Flacco? Anthony Richardson. Jump on this total before it dips into the 30s.

Best Bet: Under 42.5 Points (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Panthers at Commanders , 4:05 p.m. (CBS)

Buzz: Rookie QB Jayden Daniels is productive and elusive. He’ll have time to throw here. And the Red Rifle won’t be able to keep pace.

Best Bet: Commanders -7.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Raiders at Rams, 4:05 p.m. (CBS)

Buzz: The weekend’s other big homecoming. SoFi turns silver and black. Maxx Crosby may haunt Matthew Stafford's soul for weeks.

Best Bet: Raiders +3.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Chiefs at 49ers, 4:25 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: The two-time defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs come off a bye heading into the National Game of The Week on Fox. They haven’t lost a game since last December. The 49ers are wounded and wobbly. Patrick Mahomes is 12-1-1 ATS as a betting underdog. That is all.

Best Bet: Chiefs +1.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Jets at Steelers, 8:20 p.m. (NBC)

Buzz: Aaron Rodgers has a new head coach and a new play caller. He’s running of excuses.

Best Bet: Steelers -1.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Monday, October 21
Ravens at Buccaneers, 8:15 p.m. (ESPN)

Buzz: The Ravens beat Tampa Bay at Raymond James Stadium 2 years ago. The next day, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen got divorced. While we assume Baker Mayfield will still be happily married after this game, his Bucs won’t be feeling the bliss.

Best Bet: Ravens -3.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

Chargers at Cardinals, 8:45 p.m. (ESPN+)

Buzz: Why is this game on Monday night? Because they couldn’t put it on Tuesday night.

Best Bet: Cardinals -1.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook
