Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.

Tip 1 - 12:20 Kempton - Solanna

Five-year-old Solanna didn’t seem to appreciate the soft ground conditions last time out at Yarmouth but should be right at home on the all-weather at Kempton. Has two-course-and-distance wins here and a further course victory to his name. This trip might be a bit sharper than ideal but dropping back in class, he should be the main threat come the end of the race.

Tip 2 - 1:28 Plumpton - Theonlywayiswessex

A handful of these come into the race in decent form. None more so than Theonlywayiswessex. He won at Stratford in June and followed that up by finishing third off his new mark at Southwell last month. The run that day gave the impression that a step up in trip would suit. Up almost half a mile today, he’ll take all the beating.

Tip 3 - 3:25 Wolverhampton - The Feminine Urge e/w

It feels like things are going to fall right for The Feminine Urge at some point, and today might just be the day. She was a big-priced eyecatcher in a maiden back in July and cashed in two runs later. On her most recent run, she was well-positioned and seemingly ready to launch a challenge when being badly hampered and eventually finishing last. It’s best to draw a line through that run, and she’s worth an each way shout in what looks a pretty ordinary race.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
