Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.

Tip 1 - 1:55 Ascot - Kinross

For all his ability, Kinross has become a little frustrating. He’s been sent off favourite five times in his last seven runs, but has got his head in front just once. He won this race in 2022 and was a close second in it last year, so course, distance and ground won’t be a concern. He looks an absolute banker to hit the frame at worst, and he has the most solid credentials of anything in the field. We think he’ll take a lot of beating.

Tip 2 - 2:35 Ascot - Content

Content’s run at Longchamp last time out was too bad to be true. The ground can’t really be blamed as she has gone well on soft before. She was brilliant at York despite being far too keen early, and will take all the beating should she get a clear passage through the race. Her best is a level above the rest of the field.

Tip 3 - 3:15 Ascot - Tamfana

Tamfana has looked a different horse since dropping back to a mile, and getting weight from her opponents gives her a massive advantage in the race. Oisin Murphy back on board is a big positive, as is David Menuisier’s 24% strike rate over the last 2 weeks.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
