Tip 1 - 1:30 Navan - Bodhi Bear

A good chunk of this field are making their debut, and most of the rest of them have shown precious little on a racecourse. This looks to lie between Mathan and Bodhi Bear. Preference is for Bodhi Bear, after finishing second in a better race than this at Naas last time out. His prominent run style should be well suited to this drop back to 6f, and he’s the one to beat.

Tip 2 - 3:10 Navan - Final Curtain

A drop in trip looks exactly what Final Curtain has been crying out for in his runs so far. He has been getting himself into decent positions but fading late on, so an attempt at the minimum distance is eye catching. First time cheekpieces are also fitted, it looks like Final Curtain is being given every chance today.

Tip 3 - 4:05 Newmarket - Lunar Eclipse

Down in class and in trip, Lunar Eclipse looks very well treated off a mark of 81. Lacked tactical speed when running in the Pretty Polly, but even finishing that far behind Kalpana isn’t a bad run. She won her novice over seven furlongs so should have no issues with a shorter trip, and that was on heavy so the soft ground holds no fears.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
